Carousel Microcinema #02 was enjoyed by many, and everyone got a seat this time! I just want to thank all of the artists once again for their generosity. The COLORS PROGRAM was an  amazing collection of stellar works. I was especially pleased that Michael Trigilio and Amy Alexander could be there in person. Most lovely was a late night check-in from Hadas Neuman, wanting to know how everything went: Great Hadas! The highlight of the evening was the flood of slam poets who showed up ready to rock the mic for their event (which was double booked!). They joined the cineastes for the second half of Carousel Programming and, dare I say, rather enjoyed themselves! Maybe in the future, there will be a scene merge. Urban slam poets and urbane art students join forces to watch recite and cross-pollinate. Here’s to making it so….
